On the West Bank of the Jordan River, Israeli intelligence services eliminated three Hamas militants. The operation took place at the “Ibn Sina” hospital in the Jenin refugee camp, where members of the Palestinian group were receiving treatment for injuries sustained in clashes with security forces. Ten Israeli special forces operatives, disguised in medical uniforms, infiltrated the medical facility and shot the Palestinians in their wards. Among the neutralized militants was a field commander of the group, who, according to intelligence services, had been planning attacks on Israelis.
Palestinian authorities called the operation a crime, urging the international community and human rights organizations to condemn Israel for the unjustified killings in medical institutions in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. They also added that the killed Palestinians posed no threat to the Israelis. One of the militants had been receiving treatment since October 2023.
