The Israeli Ministry of Defense has released footage of the destruction of Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon.

The military targets included rocket launcher systems, weapons storage facilities, missile production workshops, and more. The Ministry of Defense noted that some of the affected sites were located in residential areas. Over the course of two days, the military struck 200 targets in Lebanon.

The Ministry of Defense also showed videos of the destruction of Hezbollah’s kamikaze drones.

The ground forces expanded their control zone in southern Lebanon. Over the past week, the military eliminated more than two hundred militants. They also discovered a large amount of weaponry, mainly rocket munitions and artillery mines, and destroyed underground Hezbollah structures. The Ministry of Defense announced that for the first time, a female unit was involved in operations against the Shiite group. This unit was tasked with gathering intelligence near the Lebanon-Syria border.

Israel is actively promoting a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon with U.S. mediation. According to media reports, the agreement is expected to take effect by the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidential term in January 2025. Journalists note that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is aiming to please the American leader and present the deal as the first success of the new White House administration’s foreign policy.
